Poor, poor downtrodden white men.

http://thepage.time.com/halperins-take-the-eleven-real-supreme-court-nomination-questions-to-watch-now/

There are few things funnier than watching those who gave themselves EVERY advantage for hundreds of years, whine about losing even just the tiniest bit of it. "reverse racism" BWAHAHAHAAHAAA!!!

2. Pathetic
I don't care what sex or race the pick is as long as he/she is a flamethrowing liberal. We poor white guys have really got it bad. Thank God there are brilliant conservative minds watching out for us.

3. So sad, actually.
The future isn't as white as the past has been.

Demographics of this nation are rapidly changing, and the Bush disaster was the political apogee of the party of downtrodden white men.

4. There is no "spanish-language heritage" representation on the court, and there should be.
That's a massive percentage of our country, and it's past time that this demographic be represented.

We also need a few more women on that bench.

If these fellahs are crying about "reverse" racism, that means they're acknowledging that they were racists all along.

It's not payback to correct this longstanding discrepancy, it's merely adjusting the scales. We all need to get over this nonsense, and the sooner we do, the candidate will be chosen not based on race, gender, orientation or any other surface characteristic that may or may not be evident, but on the quality of their jurisprudence and nothing more.

It'll be awhile, though.

10. Halperin thinks he's so clever. This guy is just nauseating.
I know he thinks he's being oh, so cute and funny, but his whole schtick comes across as embarrassingly idiotic. Who talks/thinks like this anyway, in the real world?

This has been another episode of Simple Answers To Simple Questions.

EDIT: And yes, he is completely nauseating.

12. Well, I was really referring to his cutesy "sherpa" references and all of his
"inside" Washington stuff, just to show how much he "knows." The guy is such an intellectual lightweight, almost trivial to the point of irrelevancy, that I start foaming at the mouth when I read his stuff (here, I don't bother elsewhere). I need to keep away from him entirely.

14. It really is reverse discrimination......
Yes, yes. So sad, really.

White men only hold 3/4 of the seats on the Supreme Court.

Who will end the injustice!?!?!?!

Is this even needed: :sarcasm:

One would really think that even Halperin would be ashamed to forward this notion. But, yes, we finally have the final piece of proof that Halperin is a shameless hack!

17. Preach it, Bloo!
But it's gotta be hard for white guys in the 21st century.

They read the same history books as the rest of us and they know all of the perks they've had for the last 400 years in this country. And to see that slipping away... well, it's gotta be a little disconcerting, at least for the not very bright or hard-working ones who were hoping they'd be able to rely on the rock-solid foundation of white male privilege in America until they were in the grave. Poor fellas... :(
