Have we learned nothing from the Clinton closed door "debacle" of the 90's? Have we learned nothing from Cheney's Energy meetings?

These people WORK FOR US! Every second of official deliberations/discussions on any topic should be taped and posted on a public website or a dedicated government channel for us all to view unless there is a LEGITIMATE National Security excuse.

I post this becuase of someone posting in another thread that the next couple of Baucus meetings would be held "privately". Screw that! You HAVE NO PRIVACY AS A PUBLIC SERVANT!!!

1. I agree! They should be on CSPAN everyday. I have sent notes
to the whitehouse regarding this issue.

2. I've got a bad feeling on this.
It can't end well for anyone interested in real health care reform.

3. I don't think they remember that they work for us at all.
They all seem to think that once they get elected - they're royalty and we should all defer to their wishes. If they remembered they worked for us, maybe they'd start looking long and hard at ways to make a single payer system work in this country since the majority of us are now in favor of such a system.

4. The TRUTH is what's so secret we can't hear it.
The truth is that we are trying to close the health care industrial complex/Congressional prostitutes to the HCIC candy store. If one is no longer able to wage its pirate trade, the prostitutes and others who benefit from the pirate's gold will also go under.

the pharmas ripping us all off if we're listening.
