that's a question.

I can't believe that 'the photos' haven't been leaked. Washington is so leaky. I'm surprised they haven't appeared on youtube and all around the internet?

1. Because "leaks" are usually intentional, and from the top-down

It took a plane to get shot down to find out about Iran-Contra.
It took a bungled burglary to find out about what Nixon was doing with CREEP.

2. Good question, and pardon me for asking what is probably the "duh"
question of the day, but why were so many pictures taken of war crimes?

We know it wasn't just a "few bad apples" as BushCo tried to say. We KNOW that.

Doesn't the fact that there appears to be systemic torture, with obvious prolific documentation of it, prove that orders were given to commit these despicable acts and that it was far from being isolated incidents?

That in addition to the torture memos seems to throw their "few bad apples" argument right out the window.

I'm also curious if sexual degradation and violence was such a prevalent part of any other country's torture protocol. BushCo and the right-wing chickenhawks are particularly fond of this, so it seems.

5. Because they're hot potatoes. Whoever gets caught leaking them will be blamed....
... for every troop death for months into the future--true or not. Apparently sodomizing children to intimidate confessions out of their possibly innocent parents is a real lose-lose situation.
