8. I figured that was the problem with going full force into single payer
Obviously, tearing down the current system completely would collapse our economy.

10. True. Read the HR 676 summary page
The steps needed to implement a single payer system are huge. Also it would take a long time to implement a single payer system.

19. So, logically, we shouldn't begin implementing the single-payer system
Because "it would take a long time".

Obama's new slogan: "No, We Can't"

6. this is a good crowd. EFCA is the 2nd question
President did a good job IMO explaining why he is not single payer or bust.

16. I feel better now having watched that. He finally answered the
question that has been bugging me. I now understand his views on single payer, but more importantly - it sounds like - if I heard him right - that a public option will be included. His answers to all the other questions were great also. Thanks for the heads up.

17. I listened to a little and most of it sounded pretty good, except I didn't like
when he said, "oh yeah, the little single-payer devotees are here" or something like that when people applauded at the mention of single-payer. His use of the word "little" hinted that he doesn't give them/us much credit, and even comes off as disrespectful from my point of view. Maybe he didn't mean it to come across that way, but I fear it's SOMETHING like that coming through.

20. He conveniently ignored the part of the question about Baucus
having a conflict of interest, too. I'd be curious to know why finance is working on healthcare and not HHS working on healthcare, too.
