What I want to hear democrats start saying
We can all agree, people need to be more responsible. However, Business has to be more responsible as well.

It is not responsible for a business to compensate its CEO and executives an obscene amount of money while cutting the wages and benefits of its everyday workers and it is not responsible for a company to reward short term gains at the expense of long term stability.

It is not responsible for us to have a Health care system that turns a profit for a few but despite the investment of capital produces poor results for the population.

It is not responsible to have a capital allocation system that is rigged to offer usury rates. The ability for people to pay back their debts can also be tied to the rate of interest they are charged on those debts.

It is not responsible for us to tie up the American worker's retirement into the stock market.

Feel free to add, however the Republicans love to use personal responsibility. I've heard the President say things like this a few time however, I think we should hit the GOP back on responsibility. Sure, some people have been irresponsible, but the irresponsibility of those people is nothing compared to what is going in the E suite.

2. Social Responsibility starts with CIVICS::::among other aspects
Smart Voting = Smart Leaders = Smart Solutions = Advancing = Good Lifestyles and Low Misery Level

Poor Voting = Dumb Leaders = Dumb/stupid decisions, = waste and losses = poverty = high misery Level

In America, collectively, The ASTUTENESS LEVEL is gaining on them PUBs...they noes it but its too late...their own Brand has a bad

history...the GOP looks like the shit it really is...and the People are seeing it and are revolted by it....even Spector

Jumped....of course he is reading the polls but it reflects the Paradigm Shift going on in America....

3. I read something on the Great Depression that was interesting
The Great Depression made people interested in Government because the New Deal was keeping people from literally starving. The idea that Government could improve people's lives was instilled in a generation.

Richard Nixon and some of Carter's misteps had convinced the public the opposite and thus the change in the nation's attitude.

5. My parents grew up during the last Republican depression
It's very informative to listen to the stories they have to tell. My Dad kept the family going and paid for the home from what he earned with the WPA. I feel pretty lucky that I've got some historical perspective and education about self-sufficiency. I might not have learned half of what my Dad had to teach me but that's probably twice that my age afflicted brethren have absorbed.
