Every decision the Bush admin made about "national security" was about domestic politics...It is fucking sad that we can't address that head on.

but everything he said about the rule of law is meaningless if he will not prosecute those who broke the law. The idea that if you are powerful enough, then the law does not apply is not good precedent.

I am fine with the military commission being altered to fit with the rule of law. Even Washington had military trials.

Now is the time to do your best to convince those around you of Cheney's war crimes, Cheney will get away scot free unless we the people are screaming for him to be prosecuted. Right now, 50% or so support investigations, that's not good enough 60+ must be screaming for Cheney to be prosecuted.
