Pat Puke says it quite often and it is enlightening.
Closing the show, Pat has to get the last word as usual, and states, Lawrence O'Donnell's reaction to Cheney's speech proves its effectiveness. (for background Lawrence was pissed and pointing out all of the lies from Cheney)

Mr. Puke does this often, disregards all factual evidence. It is all about scoring points and perception, not at all about truth, defending the Country, being honorable. This was the lessons he, Cheney, Rummy, and others learned from the Nixon administration. Which is why justice must be served.

2. Bingo
While the neocons are all about power and greed, and will use any means to obtain (and keep) power, their followers/supporters couldn't care less about facts, truth or honor.

It's like a big football game to them. They want to win for winning's sake. Most don't even know what they're arguing about or fighting FOR.

Their ignorance is stunningly dangerous, as Pat inadvertently points out. It's all about effect, smoke and mirrors.

3. It's all about confusing the electorate in order to win elections...
Good luck with that...
