I'm sure they will be better guests than Liz the Liar Cheney.

1. I was hoping someone would bring in the Bush twins
very deep thinkers, those two.

3. Hello! They've been appointed Secretary and Under Secretary of Dog Walking...
.... and WITHOUT Congressional approval I might add!!!

But, apparently, those were just ceremonial appointments....

"President Barack Obama leaves the Oval Office at night, walking with family dog, "Bo," on the Colonnade toward the Residence 4/24/09"

4. I hope this does not happen.
I think it would be a mistake for the President to put his children in the spotlight like this.

5. Uhm, I believe it's sarcasm riffing on the "objectivity" of Liz Cheney being any kind of pundit
on a debate between her father and Obama....

6. Sigh. I don't get why she is looked at as some kind of "expert".
Per Wiki this is what she did at the State Dept.:
In February 2005, she returned to the US State Department and was appointed the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State For Near Eastern Affairs and Coordinator for Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiatives. In this position, Cheney supported the Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, C. David Welch, and coordinated U.S. multilateral efforts to promote and support democracy, expanded education and economic opportunities in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Her position made her the second-ranking U.S. diplomat for the Middle East. Cheney oversaw the launch of two semi-independent foundations, the Fund of the Future (worth $100 million), to provide capital for small businesses and the Foundation of the Future (worth $55 million), to promote freedom of the press and democracy.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Cheney

So she gave out grants and stuff and helped make Daddy's friends rich in Iraq. Lovely. Her hubby worked for Lockheed Martin and worked as general counsel for Dept of Homeland Security for the WH:

Six months after that March 2003 meeting, Perry left the White House to lobby for the Washington law firm that represents the American Chemistry Council, strong-arming the Department of Homeland Security for Lockheed Martin and General Electric. But in 2005 he returned to the administration -- he didn't leave his lobbying job, just moved offices. In his new job as general counsel for the Department of Homeland Security, he gained authority for DHS to oversee chemical plant security simply so he could require nothing from them. Because it's just so inconvenient for chemical plants to have to lock their doors at night. Not only that, but he also finagled things so that DHS has the power to set aside laws from commie states like New Jersey that have attempted to put stricter security requirements for their chemical plants in place.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bill-maher/philip-perry-treasonous-_b_42377.html

At least the current VP's son is doing something more noble with his time, serving in Iraq in the Jag Corps.
