An "only in America moment"
So says the WAPO bureau chief on MSNBC, regarding the nomination of Sotomayor.

So true.

And it echoes the nomination of Obama.

1. I just posted that line in another thread.
Uh oh, Turley is giving her a little crap. Saying she's not a strong academic. Not "blazingly intellectual." Turley, I love ya, but not right now, okay. Though, you've got to give it to the guy - he is honest - almost to a fault.

He does say it's a great start - the way the WH has handled the roll-out - and they should prevail.

2. Wikipedia says she won the top academic award for
undergraduates at Princeton. She also was editor of Yale Law Review. Intellectual... what a fool Turley is.

6. I've avoided listening to him on
'indefinite detention,' for that reason. I think he missed something.

5. Well, Yes, Only In This Country Can Anyone Be Appointed To The US Supreme Court

If it was a white guy appointing a white guy, it would still be an "only in America" moment.
