18. Biggest problem I have w/Tweety is that he rarely, very rarely...
shuts his yap after asking a question. Makes no difference what position it is or D/R, he asks something then just blathers on. When the person tries to answer when Tweety takes a breath, he interupts!

There are times whn I wonder if he's doing crank during the commercials...:eyes:

27. he does that constantly. and is it me, or does he do it more to women trying to get into the
conversation. granted i don't watch all the time, but everytime I do, i see joan walsh or some other woman trying to say something or to respond to someone and matthews or the other person just talk like they are the only ones there.

30. Basically, he does it to everyone, regardless or sex, ethnicity or
anything else. It's as if he never had any notion of manners or etiquette and would have an exceptionally difficult time acquiring skills in those areas.

It appears to me, he has to "justify" himself and his questions, he should just ask them and get an answer. Few things are worse than someone who puts out a question, then answers it themselves, not on facts, but what they want to portray...:(

19. Joe is much worse than Tweety, but I'm still pissed about Tweety and Pat championing racism a couple
of weeks ago.

17. MSNBC is not going to fill that 10 pm slot. Not now, anyway.
Remember Jay Leno is going to have his nightly show on at 10 pm this fall, the comedy of which is going to be topical, "what happened today" stuff.

NBC isn't going to compete against itself because while the style/delivery might be wildly different, the basic content would be largely the same.

If Leno fails, then we might see someone put in that time slot.

22. Well, then I wish they would at least start sticking him on TV as much as Pat is on. Pat is on more
then any of the anchors or people with their own shows. Pat is the 24/7 pundit. I want Lawrence as a 24/7 pundit. Stick him on Morning Joe because he will actually go back at Joe - which is probably why he isn't on it more often.

I actually think the Leno idea is pretty smart by NBC.
