Obnoxious Media desperate for SCOTUS fight
Edited on Fri May-29-09 05:32 PM by FrenchieCat
They Will do Anything for Interest Group Ad Revenue!

This is in reference to MSNBC and its Breaking News nonsense about comments made by Sotomayor while she was speaking in context of discrimination rulings takes the cake.

Guess because the interview in where the President stated she could have said it a different way was done by sister station NBC, these fools think they have broken news! Well, perhaps they are correct....they are fabricating a whole bunch of shit, and are forcing news as they go along.

Sorry, NewsCorp Whores, you will not get as big of advertising revenues from the various interest groups promoting or defaming Ms. Sotomayor as you had initially calculated the day Souter announced his retirement! Tough shit!

1. I agree. They're acting like this is the great tornado chase.
Ed Schultz has decided that this is the big story today, but I'm pretty certain that the Petraeus statement on our violations of the Geneva Conventions trumps this one bigtime...as does the GM pending bankruptcy story as well. Ed's ratings are horrible, and he doesn't do himself any favors going off on these "breaking news" tangents.

2. Yes they are, and few if any seem to want to put the statement in context, put it to rest.
It's so simple, and I find it interesting that nobody seems to have put it to rest.

I posted this on Wednesday:

The Sotomayor Statement re: Experience White Men v Latina Women. In Context.

It's a "no brainer".

Hmmm. No brains in MSM?

3. I wish I could email Big Ed a chill pill.....
... the White House did NOT make a "blunder" and if the President had called the GOP "racist" then it would have been an example of the partisaned bickering he is constantly trying to quell.

By this time Monday, no one will care! Calm down Ed!

4. I taped Hardball and when I watched it, I couldn't believe what
I was hearing. Thanks for the headsup on Ed. I won't watch today. These people are crazy.
