I really hope that Haley Barbour slinks out of the deep south to
throw his hat in the presidential ring to show just how out of touch the GOP really is.

I mean really, this guy is sleezy like an old fashioned preacher selling moonshine out the back of his truck while lookin' to have his way with your daughter.

4. Haley Barbour failed disasterously in the evacuations prior to Katrina's landfall.
Probably damn near 500 or more people died in all the coastal counties of Mississippi where Katrina made landfall. Over 200 died in the city of Biloxi alone. That gave Biloxi an even higher per capita death rate than New Orleans.

There was no evacuation plan. Telling people to get out is not a plan. There was no help for people without cars or people who were too poor to afford travel or too old to move on their own. There was no bus fleet prepared to ferry these people out. Nothing of that sort. Barbour is responsible for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). It failed. It totally failed.

6. The whispers this week that he thinks he is a contender have given me some good laughs.
And if he does get into the primary race, we are in for a wonderful debate season. It will be quite a hoot!
