We get why Cheney keeps talking about Pres. Obama keeping us safe.
He IS hoping for a terrorist attack because he knows then that can be used against Pres. Obama.

However, the good news is that this attack line can only work for a certain amount of time. IF we are not attacked, then it becomes more and more difficult to use that line against Pres. Obama. Remember, Republicans kept saying Bush kept us safe X amount of years.

Well now we can use that exact same line of reasoning.

1. I agree, but I think his bigger motivation is in avoiding
criminal prosecution. He's definitely setting Obama up, but for some reason, none of the traps they set wind up hurting Obama. They always backfire.
