The grassroots need to rustle...reactivate the network and mechanisms of the campaign
for the healthcare reform movement. We need a starting point and a cohesive message, and an agreed upon method of achieiving the goal. Let's get busy.

1. I whole heartedly agree.
If these crazy Repubs can get this organized and pwn the media in their frenzy as they have. How do we get ourselves started in the same fashion and are we organizing to attend these Town Halls to give forth some reasoning as much as they're talking trash?

There was a post that showed Sebelius' statistical work on the important of health care reform, that could come in handy but we need people willing to take the time to attend a few events. I don't even know if such an event will take place in NYC.

2. I was thinking more on the lines of small house parties, like we had
during the campaign. Neighbors meeting neighbors. What happened to all of those lists of contacts? Meetups for information. Requisite only is good behavior. How about canvassing type initiative? Or phone banking? Is there a way to mobilize money for an effort like this on behalf of ordinary citizens vs. what corporate America is doing?

Block party, anyone? Party for healthcare? Set up some free food and let's get people by to distribute literature and talk about their concerns and what exists in reality. AND then lets start slapping our Dem reps and senators to get on the same page for once.
