Did Sarah Palin really have a nervous breakdown?

Just back from vacation and I saw in the distance a notorious tabloid in the distance displaying "Sarah Palin Meltdown" This comes at the same time as her weird tirade about 'death panels' and 'healthcare reform is evil' Has this woman actually 'gone off her rocker?' Has it all just got too much for her?

bus by her own crowd. They do control the conversation, even the tabloids. Remember their offices got anthrax, too, back when it wasn't cool to criticize Bush/Cheney

The more clueless she is the more ambitious she becomes, the ego trying to compensate for a long list of personal shortcomings and limitations.

She's none too bright but because she is a former beauty pageant contestant, she likely believes that her personal success and worth have already been confirmed by the approval she received as a beauty contestant and before the cameras as a "television sports journalist."

Palin taunted Obama's public service in her address to GOP delegates at the St. Paul convention. Being mayor of a city, she claimed, was similar to being a community organizer, as Obama had been, "except that you have actual responsibilities," actual responsibilities she abandoned when she quit Alaska's governorship before the end of her first term.

I don't know anything about Palin's clinical mental health profile. But I think as a public servant she's all ego and ambition, which together work to obscure significant personal limitations. I don't think there's any doubt that she believes she should be the next President of the United States.

But I don't think she's gonna be.

...and seemed barely able to hold it together under the best of circumstances.

I think that her essential weakness doesn't allow her to juggle her duties as a mother and as governor, when marital difficulties are also in the mix. The kind of cheap, meritless fame she sought is not forgiving, and she'll be much better off with time to put together a life more substantial than the phony one she was living.

I can't stand her and even I am concerned that her health (mental, physical, or both) is very bad. She looks to have aged YEARS in the past 3 months. And she looks like she is about to just crumble.

Also, anyone who wants to be taken as a serious person in national politics does not spout their "policies" on Facebook and expect to be taken seriously, imo.

Her advisers don't have much to work with. Apparently, she won't take advice from anyone since she thinks she knows best. Perhaps her nervous breakdown is her acknowledgment that she will never be ready for the big stage. Her lack of knowledge on any subject, her lack of intellectual curiosity and her whacked out wing nut views put an end to that.

and I'm not kidding. She's NPD, so there's very little chance of her recovering. The only thing that would cause her to breakdown would be an utter inability to control what people were saying about her, and no ability to exact revenge. But, she's been dishing out revenge thug style behind the scenes for a while now.

Levi's book and her many email scandals all loom....but I doubt that someone who feels entitled to lie and cheat and get away with it would feel the kind of fear a normal person would.

Look for a tighter jaw line and lessened folds by her mouth. Her looks are, after all, her entire "platform" -- something to be guarded carefully. I'm sure
Cheney, who is up in AK right now, is hand feeding her spoonfuls of jello in her recovery room:-)

Next week she speaks at some parental right pro-life rally in AK. or, she's supposed to. but it may be another job/commitment she aborts late term, as she does so many of her commitments.
