1. I recently had to find my birth certificate to prove I was a citizen to get BadgerCare.

I'm 57 and I've never had to produce my birth certificate before to prove I was a citizen and I had no idea where I had put it. I knew it was somewhere in the house, but it took me 2 days to find it.

I wonder how many of these people could produce their birth certificates, how many don't have one, or an original?

I needed my son's birth certificate, but didn't have an incredibly tight window. It arrived about a week after I ordered it, which worked for me.

4. I walked through a group of these types last Saturday...

I went to a rally in support of a public option, but I had to walk through a crowd protesting such an option, before I got to the supporters.

There was one fellow with a sign that read, "Stop wasting my money!" I looked at him and said, "Now that's one sign I agree with! Just where are those weapons of mass destruction?" I kept walking but heard him call out to me, "What?" What?" Apparently he didn't make the connection.

Funny thing about the GOP. We are spending trillions on needless wars based on lies and bailouts for the nations' oligarchs, but I don't recall seeing him or anyone else like him protesting...
