I got to shake John Kerry's hand again today!!
He shook my hand, looked me right in the eye and said "Thank you my friend." It was pretty cool. He also talked about health care. That was the jist of the town hall meeting. He also said that "W is for wrong. Wrong choices. Wrong Direction." The thing is, there was a woman there. She talked about how her son, her brother and sister have serious health problems and no coverage when they should. She was in tears. It was devistating to witness. It makes me that much angrier about the state of things. I will continue by saying this. Health Care may not be a top priority as far as the general population of America is concerned, but we need to tell them why it should be.

1. WOO HOO!!!
How terribly cool! I got to shake his hand last summer in Alb. before he was our nominee (in all honesty I didn't think he would be)!

You must be on cloud 9!

4. It was pretty packed.
It was a school gymnasium. The story behind it is that a high school civics teacher at that school had the idea of having Bush and Kerry speak at the school. But George "I'm too fucking good for the world" Bush said no, or did not respond. Kerry said that he would love to do a Town Hall meeting. He went into detail about his health care plan. Also talked about his tax plan. He was as clear about Iraq as he could have been. He did do a riff on Bush's calling him a flip flopper. Something like if he talked about Bush's flip-flops we would be talking for quite a while.

Thanks for going out and showing your support for John Kerry!
...He will make a great President!

I agree, Health Care is so important, and that's why we need Kerry.

7. DoubleHappiness!
You are blessed! Did Kerry seem like he had gotten some rest?

Some on du yesterday said he look tired ..was it in Wisconsin, I think so..

Health care is very important to some and they need medical attention..Kerry said in his Acceptance Speech that Americans should have the same coverage as Congress.

Does anyone remember that?
