Remember the Lieberman campaign accusing Lamont of hacking his website right before the election?
Only Lamont didn't? And the FBI knew it but didn't think it was worth telling people about until long after the election?

I don't know why, but for some reason I just felt like reminiscing about all the Lieberman good times.

Memories, misty, water-colored memories . . . .

2. Remember when he swept Katrina investigations under the rug, after promising them?
Then Michael Brown came out and said he had all those incriminating e-mails where the Bush admin said they were going to rub Gov. Blanco's nose in it b/c she was a female Democrat? But it didn't matter b/c we let Lieberman keep his committee chairs anyway in the name of bipartisanship?

5. Remember the 2000 VP debate, when Holy Joe and Darth Cheney agreed on damn near everything?
That should have been the first clue. :evilfrown:

7. Lieberman was the hairshirt Al Gore was forced to don.
Now he's a hairshirt for all of us.

12. I really have no idea. Lieberman was the Clinton antidote, the bleach
designed to remove any thought of recreational sex from anyone's mind. I certainly think he's effective in that regard.

4. Mem'ries, sweaty, hard worn mem'ries...
sorry, I was one of his callers to Dems and to indies. Oh, the memories. Ugh. Nobody knew Ned. He was considered a rich guy from Greenwich (which he was, but was a good guy). It was a losing game, my friends...I hope things are better this go round. It should be after ole Joe's sellout. God, what a horrible person Joe has become...

14. Well, unless Al Gore himself shares with us what he was thinking when he
chose Lieberman, I guess it will all be pointless conjecture. I think that describing Lieberman as a human hairshirt designed to counteract the libertine Clinton image is pretty accurate. It's La Dolce Vita suddenly becomes Bonjours Tristesse.

15. The Kiss! The giant paper mache smooch between Bush and Lieberman!
Absolutely a highlight! God I loved that car and whoever did that, following Lieberman from campaign stop to campaign stop. Maybe we can get another one of him kissing Republican ass!
