REAL map of red states and blue states
Here is what the world thinks of Bush*. The good news is we are not alone in our dislike of Bush, the bad news is they can't vote. I think this crude graphic reminds us that we have a responsibility to to Vote this mofo out! The repubs want to move the red line to America's borders painting the rest of America red. We can't let that happen and I'm working by butt off to make sure it doesn't.

* I used info from Electoral-Vote.com for the US and the PIPA/U of Maryland (they only polled 30 countries) for the global.

2. You are correct
I found that mistake and one other (can you find it?) and don't have the patience this morning to go back and re-do. Consider the graphic conceptual.

6. no
Didn't you see that thread last week? Started off with an article (NY Times, I think) of how Saudis are fearful he will win. They do not think the Mideast will survive if he gets back in.

10. All the Saudis need do is:
1. Stop selling us oil, as they had done during the 1970s. The US can't respond as the rest of the world would side with them, if it's true the rest of the world dislikes us...

2. Pull out their investments.

Either of those will cripple us. :tinfoilhat:

I rather hope they don't do it, there's got to be a better way.

14. It's there.
Just hard to see.

The last time I flew out there, we landed after dark. As I was leaving I told the pilot he was really good for finding this little place in the dark. Honolulu shows up real well in the dark, from a long way away.

Isn't it surreal? I don't want America's religious zealots in charge right now. Things are far too complicated and dangerous.

25. That's a cool site
Wow, it seems like there is a site for everything! I don't think I'd use these polls because many of the countries only have a handful of votes cast. If I'm going to do the work I'd rather use established polling firms (Pew, Zogby, Harris, etc.). You have quite an impressive collection of polling links - very nice.

16. Kerry needs to work in credible context for using the word PEACE and
more narmal relationships with all countries. If * says 'peace', only the reds will believe him. Kerry has a great advantage.

Bush is WAR, MORE WAR. Because no country is going to let us come in and take them over while holding a candle or reciting a Psalm or verse of acquiescnce.

Since they, too, are largely beyond the reach of the Bushmedia 24/7 propaganda and slime machine.

28. Dave Leip is doing a mock election with worldwide results.
The results for the US are outrageous (Badnarik 2nd place,
Bush 4th place), but the world results are pretty interesting
(remember that Red is Democratic on this site):

Europe:

Kerry - 67.63%
Bush - 15.83%

Canada:

Kerry - 57.75%
Bush - 25.35%
