1. As Al Gore said in his editorial.....
"Low expectations" of a sitting president are a statement in itself.

2. "Well, as far as I can see..
he didnt fall down, speak in a foreign language, which would be debatable by some, turn into the Beast on national television or announce the immediate invasion of Syria, Iran and North Korea, not to mention promising to start the Draft AFTER everyone takes down their Christmas tree, I say he won handily. What's your opinion, Bill Schneider?"

3. Well, Judy. Even that response when our great leader was apparently
speaking in tongues, his BODY LANGUAGE was so confident, so assured. Yes indeed, I think we have to call this one for the President.

5. Lower expectations are not good news for *
It's been reported that this is not an ideal spot for a sitting president, * is "expected" to win the debate. A draw is not a win for the *, consider that if Kerry does as well as * during the debate most voters are not going to be afraid of changing horses midstream.

4. I have never in my years of covering debates...
seen such a magnificent display of international know-how. President George W. Bush, number 43 to most of us, has just sealed his re-election. This is Candy Crowley reporting from beautiful Coral Gables, Florida. Once again, Florida has been very good to President Bush.

8. Did you see him standing there?
How good he looked, not quite as tanned as that flip-flopper Kerry, but tanned, relaxed, able to handle those tough questions and come back with sharp answers. Between his poise, his good looks, and that bulge in his pants, I'm going try to have a beer with him or maybe even more. This is Chris Mathews signing off.

9. Isn't that "the soft bigotry of low expectations?"
Wouldn't you just love to see Kerry use that line in reference to Bush's performance in the White House?

10. When they compared numbers on terrorism...
Well, Candy, when John Kerry said that terrorism is up 95% in 2004, he was dead wrong. Statistics, if taken out to the 5th decimal place indicate that terrorism is only up 94.49993% this year, which means you would round it down to 94%. Kerry was flat out wrong with his number. So, the big question is whether John Kerry was wildly innacurate or outright lying. And, if he was innacurate, can we trust this man to be president?

Now, in fairness, when President Bush spoke of 50 tons of mustard gas on a turkey farm in Libya, it was actually only 22 tons. But, we all know our esteemed War President (said with Capital Letters) is not a numbers guy. It was a very presidential statement and it was the thought that counted.

11. I am outraged that the media whores are saying that Kerry has to
pretty much hit a home run in the debates to win the election!?!

WHAT? The sitting president has unnecessarily created hell-on-earth in Iraq, made the US reviled by the world community, turned a budget surplus into an impending fiscal crisis, done everything he can to widen the income gap, continued to support policies that offshore US jobs, and instituted a foreign policy that is the most effective recruiting tool imaginable for al Qaeda.

What can Bush POSSIBLY say that changes the irrefutable facts of the catastrophic results of Bush's foreign and domestic policies?

13. Bush may have taken out his crack pipe and puffed on it on stage
tonight, but since he stayed away from the needles we're going to have to call this a victory for the President.
