We just got our new Kerry-Edwards sign
For two weeks we had a nice 2 foot by 4 foot Kerry-Edwards sign on our ranch at a very high traffic intersection. The bashing * took last Thursday drove the desperate "Brain Dead for Bush" crew to steal our sign from behind a fence on posted private property Saturday night. Our new sign is a thing of beauty. Four feet by eight feet of gleaming truth. We'll have it up tomorrow and none too soon. They just announced a dumbya alert for next week. Numbnuts is coming to town. He can't seem to accept the fact that southern Oregon is no longer Bush-Cheney country.

1. Good for you!
We have a Kerry/Edwards yard sign and have two to spare in our garage because we're expecting the sign to be stolen a time or two.

8. I can't get them in my town
They won't have them for a week or two. They said that there is a strategy to put them all out at once for more effect.

2. Awesome FightingIrish... I wish we had a larger sign...
but... I will take what I get for free...:-) We are also in a high traffic area.... I have three Kerry signs..the traditional ones...but at least I have them...One on each corner of my lot, which is a corner lot on a four way stop.

Anyway.. congratulations for showing your colors...

5. Steal One...Put Up Two...
Advice from a neighbor who was a Democrat in this area when he was the only Democrat in the town...literally. No one messes with him anymore.

He passed this along: always have several yard signs at the ready...so if the goons take your sign down, you put up two...they take down your two, you put up four, they try to knock down your four and eight go up. Eventually they'll get tired and pissed since instead of quieting the opposition, they're calling attention to it.

Great news to hear...and keep up fighting the good fight!

12. I wish I could have one, but married to a bona fide Bush loving
Faux watching brainless husband who sadly is the sole bread winner, he would just rip it up himself. I have seen more and more Kerry signs poppin up here in Texas, I still have every faith Kerry has a very good chance to gain Texas...

He is out of town and called this morning first thing, the first thing out of his mouth was "did you see Cheney destroy that wimpy Edwards guy last night"...lol, even half still asleep I sat up startled and screamed into the phone "You gotta be kidding?" "Edward whipped him soundly and without the need for fanfare"..

He snarled and I swear said "Did you even watch it?" as if I wouldnt have? He knows me better than that. I replied "Of course I watched it, in fact twice since I watched the replay on CNN all the way through.."

He snarled once more through the phone lines and said"Whatever" and continued with" Call me back when you are in a better mood"

?? My mood was just fine? Thats the Bush mindset, I swear he doesn't argue real talking points that deal with facts with me since his source of info has always been Faux and other than a few little lapses lately of attempting a more fair and balanced showing of this campaign, the majority will still always be Pro Republican...

Don't give in to the little snippets of real journalism they are throwing out lately, it is just a ploy from Faux and company, mark my words, DO NOT watch Faux, they do not deserve our viewership, they blew their chances a long time ago to be anything but what they are "Un Fair and Way Un Balanced"

18. I hear ya, AuntPatsy; I'm married to one of those, too.
And, every four years, he drives me nuts.

He's way too smart to be a Repuke, but it's become a "stubborn" issue. He says being a Repuke is adhering to a concept; I maintain that it's a fantasy.

Oh well, I just keep thinking of what poor James Carville has to put up with every day.

Let's keep the faith and maybe someday they'll see the light.

21. Oh, AuntPatsy, I wish you didn't have to put up with this.
My bf is liberal, but a little less liberal than me, and we have the worst fights about politics. We nearly broke up over politics recently. I can't imagine living with a shrub-lover. I hope that he's a good person in other ways. Please take care of yourself. :grouphug:

17. Suggestion for where you put it
I saw some awesome Kerry-Edwards signs in the country around Spring Green, WI and one of them was done right.

They put the Kerry-Edwards sign well seen and on some taller stilts in high grass. Any Freeper wanting to try to take the sign down would have to deal with the brush and possibly something (like a bear trap, perhaps) located near the sign that they would step into.

Rural Kerry-Edwards signs rule!

20. Seems to be a nation wide campaign of theft
70% of the Kerry signs were stolen this past week-end. We thought it was because * is coming Thursday but maybe it goes farther than that.
Disgusting beyond belief.

22. The concept of stealing and presidential elections
is something first advanced in Florida four years ago. It has become a nation-wide craze and stealing signs allows everyone to participate.
