Grand opening of Obama Alabama HQ Saturday night

I don't really know who Leanne Townsend is, but God bless her. She is the Alabama state director for Obama For America. She is doing the Lord's work I suppose. I wonder if she has ever visited us? Back when people came here.

Got an email from her office. They're going to be having a little party Saturday night, September 24, 2011, at the opening of President Obama's Alabama office.

From now until November 2012, we're going to do everything we can to spread the word about what President Obama's doing for the middle class, seniors, and students -- and elect him to a second term so we can build on that progress.

Our new Birmingham office will be home base for that work here in Alabama, so we're breaking it in with a celebration tomorrow evening -- Saturday, September 24th. There will be food, drinks, music, and friends both old and new.
