If so do you have any tips or recommendations on parking during gameday?

1. it's been years and years since I went to an actual game
But I went to the A-Day game a few years ago when we had 100,000+ people show up.

That was probably pretty close to a game-day experience.

If memory serves me correctly, and there are no guarantees, we finally found a place to park in a big lot within sight of the Shelby building. (Yeah, I know.) It's a building with a big dome on top.

We found it by turning north, I think, from University Boulevard, at the Publix supermarket, driving a few blocks, and looking over to the right. But the traffic was congested as all get-out. You'd probably do much better by coming up Jack Warner Parkway, and entering the campus area from that direction. Look for "Campus Drive."

You might have a better experience by parking somewhere away from campus, and riding a shuttle bus onto the stadium. I think you can catch one from University Mall.

That's the best I can do from memory. Here's the definitive web page for what you're looking for. Maybe I should have thought of this before. :)

We play at Florida this week. Are you attending the homecoming game against Vanderbilt? Vandy seems to be better than usual.

2. Thanks for the info
I just recently bought tickets to the Georgia Southern game, I think all other games are sold out. I just realized that late in the season (Nov 19) they might just go with their second team against the FCS team, I hope to see some of their stars play.

3. Yep.
They have worked out a lot of the kinks of the past in parking.

The map of game day parking is here:

Here is a link for parking info for game day if you want to pre-purchase a pass.

I work there so park in faculty/staff parking but I hear that it really isn't bad to park in open parking. There are shuttles as well.

Have fun and Roll Tide!

4. Is it easy to park at University Mall and catch the shuttle to BDS?
Does the mall parking lot fill-up very fast?
Thanks for the help.

5. I think it is very easy.
Most people seem to try to get closer and don't want to do the shuttle. I don't think you'd have a problem at all with parking at the mall.
