I'm surprised she got as many people to turn out as she did. I guess free food goes a long way. Not to mention, the veteran sign really hit a strong point for me, and personally I could care less if the Army Wives liked it or not, >75% of them cheat on their husbands while they're overseas*. My heart goes out... really it does. I'm glad the state has been rid of what may be the most divisive and destructive governor in the state's history, not to vilify anyone. I only hope Parnell can help his party to regain some semblance of responsibility and ethical behavior in hopes that they will discontinue their abuse of our states trust, but I doubt they will. Come on 2010...
*DISCLAIMER: I'm not just flappin my gums in case anyone got offended. I'm a veteran myself with several deployments and I've seen Army Wives in action. So, let me clarify that I don't abhor all spouses of military service members, just the crooked majority.
