Anybody hear how Mike Doogan is doing?

I saw a report in today's Empire that he had a brain tumor and was undergoing surgery for its removal. Have any updates been published or broadcast in Anchorage?

The man is hardly perfect(I still can't forgive him for what he did to Mudflats), but still, he's a Dem and, if nothing else, we don't want Lil' Seanie to have a chance to appoint his successor.

Now if he can just avoid catching pneumonia before he gets out of the hospital. I haven't really forgiven him for The Mudflats thing either, but in the long run maybe he did her a favor. It's kind of nice that she's "out" and appearing Thursdays on Shannyn's radio show, etc.

"GETTING WELL . . . Rep. Mike Doogan is still in Seattle at Harborview Medical Center recovering from brain surgery and doing well. So well he can probably come home in two weeks, after a course of rehab. Doctors predict a full recovery, according to the woman who lets him live with her. Proof of this is the fact he's already cracking wise."
