Current Mayor of Huntington Beach, Debby Cook, announced this morning that she will run against dana whorebacher. We have been working on getting her to run for about 6 months. I am so thrilled she will run.

We have no hope of any help from DNC, how about you guys in 46? They just concede some districts'

3. We are under no illusions about that.

When the districts were re-drawn in 2000; even though the legislature was Democratically controlled, the congressional districts in Orange County were drawn to insure a publican majority. The 46th is one of the more absurd configurations.

We will get no $$$$$ help from the DCCC. We might get a little help from the DNC if our county leaders get off their asses. Support will come from the net roots. She will have no problem getting support from DFA, PDA and some of the other 527s. I talked to Jim Dean about her last July when we were all hoping she would get in the race.

Cook is an environmental attorney; a nationally, as well as internationally, recognized expert on peak oil. She has a professional network from her extensive speaking engagements. She is the perfect candidate to run against dana - dinosaur farts have caused global warming, vets benefits opposing - rohrabacher.
