Senator Bill Nelson, insurance tool, opposes public option
Bill Nelson feeling comfortable with his 2008 reelection to the Senate doesn't give a hoot for what the Florida people want. The former state insurance commissioner feels right at home opposing the people's will.

With democrats like these, who needs republicans?

2. Comment Submitted To Bill Press By John Russell, MS/ARNP

The CPRights.org commercials and the false premise behind them is laughable. As a provider of health care and a former candidate for congress who has studied this issue carefully, there is only one solution to America's health care woes and that is a pathway at minimum to a National Single Payer Plan.

It is a shame that elected representatives from both parties in the Senate and Congress are so "blinded" by allegiance to Corporate Lobbyist contributions that they have "lost" sight of whose interests they were elected to represent. Only a National Referendum on Campaign Finance Reform will cure this.

The facts are that corporate bureaucrats stand between you and your doctor at every turn. Their motivation being to maximize profits through denial of services, denial/delay of payment to providers and denial of coverage to those patients perceived as presenting a greater "risk" of needing services.

Take it from someone in the biz, the arguments presented by the opponents of the Public Option/Single Payer Financing of Health care are entirely baseless and nearly always hypocritical. Please check out my website for in-depth analysis of the problems we face together with the necessary path toward resolution.
