Early returns: Castor easily winning, Martinez ahead
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 06:32 PM by FlaIndie
Come on, Pubs, go for the guy you really want: Bill McCollum! Castor is taking about 3/4 of the votes in all the counties I've looked at so far.

The state of Florida DoS elections returns are down (no doubt to be tampered with ;) ), so I am looking at a few of the bigger counties. McCollum is behind in all of them so far. :(

2. Yes - polls showed him 2% behind - so this is an excellent test of fraud
Indeed I expect him to win by 3% as they test a 5% shift via fraud.

But then my tinfoil hat is on rather tight tonight!

:-)

3. McCollum ahead in Hillsborough.
The other counties are close. He might squeak this one out just yet!

8. Damn
This is exactly what I feared: all Mel needed to do was say "Bush likes me!" and now all the rank and file of the Republican party is boosting him up.... it's as if he's taking a page from Ginny Browne-Waite's book.

6. 11% Castor 65% Deutsch 21% Penellas 10%
though none from Palm, Broward, or Dade yet.

Still Castor is totally dominating the rest of the state.

7. It's going to be Castor vs Martinez
Castor will win by a huge margin even with Deutsch winning Broward by a big margin. Probably about 60-30.

Martinez will win by a solid but less impressive margin -- about 43-34.
