Who ISN"T running for Fat Denny's post?

Chris Lauzen, our state senator out here is considering a run.

Our Geneva mayor, Kevin Burns, who is extremely well-considered by both parties here is considering a run. He is unfortunately running as a publican.

Tim Schmitz, the state congressman here has long been considered a shoe-in over everyone else.

John Laesch is going to have another stab at him.

Linda Chapa La Via, a very popular DEM state senator from Aurora is also considering a run.

Anyone know of anyone else?

Saw Denny in the Swedish Days parade a few weeks ago. He rode past my house again. Has lost alot of weight. Not much response from the crowd either - not like in the past.

Bill Foster has sent out a glossy, color, tri-fold announcing his candidacy. Great resume, union printed on recycled paper. B/W picture of his parents with Paul Douglas. I states his mother worked for Douglas and his father worked for Robert Kennedy's Justice Department as a civil rights lawyer.
