sister sarah came to dixon....mother nature was pissed. |

it was a hot and humid afternoon here in dixon. while installing outdoor carpet for my daughter my wife called and told me sister sarah is visiting the ronnie reagan home! although just a few blocks from where i was i passed. a bit later i started noticing the weather was changing..dark clouds started rolling in...several minutes later my wife call again..sister sarah is at the waterfront where the ronnie reagan day`s are in full swing!
i imagined what kind of crazy shit was going on..was sister sarah humping ronnie on the horse statue? was she having a chat with the local afternoon drunks? did she know the local gay friendly bar was just several feet from ron`s statue? the possibly other weirdness was overwhelming ....
minutes later my daughter, granddaughter, and i ran to the car just before the winds started really started gusting.then skies opened up and dumped about a 1/2 to 3/4 inches of rain in a couple of minutes.as we drove by the waterfront we saw soaking wet people running for cover. i was hoping that sister sarah was among them...i don`t know if she had left before or after the storm but i want to thank mother nature for cleansing dixon of sister sarah...
tonight is just about perfect. the bars in downtown will packed with our local drunks who will not cerebrating ronald reagan days!

I didn't watch the local news tonight. Was there any publicity of her visit?

3. I went to the Lee County Democrats' picnic today, |
|
in Walton. The Democrats there who had spoken to their Republican counterparts said that none of the local repubbies knew this was going to happen.
Some of the local repubbies were quite put out. That got a good laugh.
