Rockford Illinois removing streetlights (Occupy Rockford march)

Rockford Illinois is removing most of the streetlights in the city to save money. Of course, already having the 9th highest crime rate in the U.S., this is going to create more problems. It also increases the risk of car-pedestrian accidents. Occupy Rockford is organizing a march at 5 PM on Saturday, November 26th, from the Public Safety Building (420 West State st.) to City Hall (425 East State st.).
