Ed is barnstorming Eastern Iowa with eight events in two days. At each, he will speak about the problems with Iowa's health care system, and why we can't wait any longer to fix it.

On Saturday, Fallon will hold "Meet the Candidate" events in Iowa City and North Liberty.

I think it is going to be worse on Friday here in central Iowa than it was when it was snowing on Thursday.

I just checked Ed's site and all of the stops on the Health Care tour have been postponed until next week. His health care plan for this week is to stay warm, and rightly so.

3. Didn't go anywhere on Thursday

Too cold and snowy. But my husband did make me a delish dinner of comfort food, so no complaints.

FALLON RESCHEDULES TOUR OF STATE TO PROMOTE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PLAN
State Representative and gubernatorial candidate Ed Fallon (D-Des Moines) will visit 8 cities in central and eastern Iowa on Thursday and Friday to introduce his plan for universal health care. The tour was initially scheduled for last week but had to be postponed due to poor weather conditions.

“Other politicians seem content to apply a few bandaids to our ailing health care system,” Fallon said. “What I’m offering is a transfusion, an overhaul of a system that fails more and more Iowans every year. Other states are moving forward with reform initiatives and with the right leadership, Iowa can too.”
