Iowa - Message from Sen. Kerry

We (the campaign)did get some great news today: The Des Moines Register's Iowa poll came out showing John Kerry three points ahead of George Bush. The Register poll has picked the presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial winner every time in the last five years, and was the only poll that correctly predicted a big win for John Kerry in the January caucuses.

My addition:
Looking at the tracking in the polls, * is consistently going down from Monday when the poll began ... Sen. Kerry is consistently going up from Monday. Iowa will be blue, I always look to the Register poll the Sunday before an election and like the email from the campaign said, they always get it right.

2. Good news!

Here in eastern Iowa, I believe that Kerry will win, but west of Des Moines has traditionally been conservative, so if the Register is correct, that is good news indeed. It would be nice if John can Kerry Iowa. Never mind, it's too early in the AM for such lousy puns.
