7. freezing rain

we are getting hail and freezing rain in mid coast maine now

I just made it back home tonight in the nick o' time .

The solar systems are charged up and the wood stove is at the ready when the power goes out...

...and I shoulda spent the money on the battery backup for the pellet stove...:(

10. Winter Overlord definately has an icy touch.

The power went out before 9 this morning. Just came back on. Believe me, I'm grateful. I was bundled up in bed.
2 thermal shirts, socks, 5 blankets & sleeping bag waiting on the floor. It's suppose to get down to the teens tonight. BBbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrr.

11. Our power JUST came back now

Thankfully.

It was getting cold without heat.

I was a lot luckier than a lot of others, especially all of the poor souls who are still without it.
