1. I just said to DH, "Wouldn't we feel stupid now if we'd bought an air conditioner this year?"

Poor cat still doesn't have an open windowsill to lie in.

4. We did buy one
It's in the window but I'm thinking of taking it out.

Our heat came on this morning!

2. I feel like I'm living in the Pacific NorthWest
Man, I can't remember a stretch of time where the the days have been rainy/overcast...ever. Looks like more of the same tomorrow.

Oh well...if I had to have an option, better this than a severe drought.

5. I remember the spring of my senior year at Orono - I was living in Bangor
and the sun literally did not shine for 45 days straight.

One late afternoon, the clouds broke and we had beautiful sunset.

Everyone - and I mean everyone - came out into the street and silently stared at it.

Not quite a 'Twilight Zone" moment, but close to it...

:)

3. 46 rainy degrees this morning...
if we could shed another 14-15 deg, the slugs could die with the garden also.

6. Don't give the weather any ideas.
I don't want to see snow.
