A Framingham woman has been charged with lighting her boyfriend on fire. Police do not know why, because the boyfriend, Jose Dos Santos, was seriously injured and could only answer questions yes or no with a shake of his head before being treated for second- and third-degree burns. Rosilandy F. DeSouza, 35, of 6 Waverley Lane, was arraigned in Framingham District Court earlier today where she was ordered held without bail. Check out The MetroWest Daily News for more information.

DeSouza's brother, Caciano Neto, 41, of 165 Dicenzo Blvd., Marlborough, is charged with intimidation of a witness. Neto is accused of calling a potential witness, one of Dos Santos' brothers, and threatening to have his family hurt in Brazil. Neto is a former police detective in Brazil, authorities said.
