Kerry statement on MA victories
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 06:21 AM by MBS
Good, strong, feisty statement, and, to my mind, addressed to more than this election (what are the chances he's thinking about Scott Brown election in 2009 and chance to take him down in 2012, do you think? : )) and to Dems outside MA as well as our proud local contingent
Tonight’s clean sweep underscores that despite massive outside spending and prevailing political winds, Massachusetts Democrats win when they take nothing for granted, fight hard, and stand proud of the people and values they represent. Deval Patrick, Tim Murray, Barney Frank, Bill Keating, and many, many others reminded Massachusetts tonight that some things really are worth fighting for, and that’s a big big lesson not just for Democrats but for everyone, everywhere

1. love Kerry
I think that first bolded statement is clearly directed at Coakley's loss to Brown. And he's right.

This morning I woke up sad for America, but proud of Massachusetts.

4. Agree. The last time
I felt exactly the same way was the presidential election of 1972. We got it right then too.

My uncle still has one of those bumper stickers.

5. I also still have one of those bumper stickers, unused.
I was in high school and didn't drive yet, never mind have a car. I had it hanging up on a magnetic bulletin board in my room.
