Saturday and Sunday: cover all Verizon Wireless stores!

Pickets at Verizon Wireless stores are putting a serious dent in the company's income!

This weekend is a state tax holiday, which means lots of shoppers going out to spend money. Across Massachusetts, we are ramping up our efforts Saturday and Sunday to cover all Verizon Wireless stores and make sure Verizon really feels the heat. Adopt a store, bring a few friends, and take a stand for working families!

In Western Mass., in addition to the big rally in Northampton, Saturday at 1:30pm at 61 Masonic St, please picket these Verizon Wireless stores this state tax holiday weekend.

360 Russell St, Hadley
555 Hubbard Ave, Pittsfield
1420 Boston Rd, Springfield
1123 Riverdale St, West Springfield

All stores are open Saturday 9am-9pm and Sunday 10am-6pm.

1. Be kind to the employees

Many are young kids trying to work their way through school and using the tuition reimbursement program. They are far removed from the Wireless divisions policies - and have little if any contact with land line services. Most of them will never even have a landline in their lives . . . So this may not "register" with them at all.
