passed by Verizon and the Hyatt. The Hyatt had a picket line that we supported as we went by.
I was literally the last person, (other than two BPD cops) in the effort. I wanted to get some good pics, ut most of them came out pretty poorly, the ones I posted, I posted here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=439&topic_id=2033157&mesg_id=2035553There were approximately 1500-2000 people as near as I could figure. There were 24 arrests. Down in Dewey Square there are some tents and a rally tonight, (heard this during the Honk Parade today, in which I marched in with the Veterans for Peace).
I may be mistaken, but I think there will be another tomorrow, (Monday), down at Dewey.
The arrests on the Brooklyn Bridge have people fired up across the nation. Seattle, Chicago, parts of Ohio and NYC of course, have amplified the calls for reform.
Hope to see you at some of these...people are pretty aggravated. Terrible stories about people being evicted after BoA refused to redo mortgages, and then BoA
lost money on the ensuing deals/buyoffs...incredible.
