Massie drops U.S. Senate bid
BOSTON (AP) -- The Democratic race for the U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Scott Brown has narrowed again with candidate Robert Massie announcing he's dropping out of the contest.

Massie said in a statement Friday that "the momentum of the race has shifted so profoundly" that he could no longer win.

Too bad because we could have had the opportunity to discuss problems and solutions among a bunch of progressive candidates. But it is true it was probably the only thing that made sense to him. I hope that he will run again in a future race.
