Protestors Rally Against Scott Brown At Danvers Event
On October 26 Mass. Uniting formed a protest in opposition of U.S. Senator Scott Brown, during his address at the North Shore Chamber of Commerce annual dinner.

"We want to work," and "vote yes on jobs" were chants heard from the protestors who demonstrated against Scott Brown at his appearance at the North Shore Chamber of Commerce annual dinner at Coco Keys on October 26.

Organized by Mass. Uniting, the forty or so protestors were made up of teachers, first responders and their supporters, demonstrating their disappointment with Scott Brown's performance in Washington D.C.

"Thanks Scott Brown, you kept us in the dark again," George Bayers, a member of Mass Uniting and the Mass Senior Action Council said, noting that the protestors were not allowed to be on the premisis of the Coco Keys Water Resort, where the U.S. senator was attending the annual dinner as keynote speaker.

"All of the town's budgets are at a breaking point," said protestor Mike Shannon, a member of the Board of Directors for the Mass. Teachers Association. "These jobs need to be maintained, and Scott Brown hasn't done a good job about that."
