2. Congradulations to the people of Mass.

Congradulations to the couples who are going to be granted marriage licenses!!! From a DUer in VA,

We are finally in company that I am glad to be in. We are 1 in only 4 nations that have recongnized same-sex unions!!!

This is something to be proud of! This is something to celebrate!

In two years when the people of Mass. see that the sky isn't falling I believe the amendment will fail!

This is a historic moment for our country! I just wish I could be there to be part of history!

Anyway was anyone there to witness it?

3. New polls here are encouraging

There were two news polls released during the past couple days that showed people in MA favoring gay marriage 50-45%. I really can't imagine the number in opposition getting any higher over the next 2.5 years.

Also, there was an article in the Globe a couple days ago about the lack support the anti-gay marriage people are finding in this state. The carpetbaggers and fundies who brought there hate up here are disappointed in the "who cares" attitude that so many people in this state have toward gay marriage.
