Affordable housing -- 40B or not to be
A lot of the threads in the Mass forum have touched on the issue of affordable housing. I know it's a huge issue out here on the Cape, and it's one just about everywhere in the state now.

Even if the real estate bubble bursts, we have a huge problem here with housing. The middle class is getting priced out of so many towns, and god only knows what the working class and the poor are faced with. Everytime someone proposes an affordable housing project out here, the NIMBYs are out in force to oppose it.

40B only seems to be a way for developers to get their non-affordable housing projects approved, and I'm not sure it's done much to increase the affordable housing stock.

How can Mass address this problem effectively, not just babble about it?
