Thursday I drove back to Ann Arbor from Chelsea on back roads

Thursday I drove back to Ann Arbor from Chelsea on back roads
And saw two beautiful trumpeter swans and their offspring standing at the side of the road. It was such a lovely sight I thought about going back again this weekend just to look at them.

Then I found out last night that some piece of garbage shot and strangled them. Cruelty, just blatant cruelty. There can be no other explanation.

I don't know if we can ever understand why a person could do something so egregious.

But he was so badly injured they had to destroy him. :cry:
