Details for August 21 meetup in Royal Oak

I finally pinned down a place. We will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 21 (my 60th birthday) at Black Finn, which is located at 530 S. Main St. Please RSVP here or PM me. I will need to get a count to them by a day or two before.

I've told them we'd be between 15 and 20 people.

And great seeing my old DU friends and roomie. Let's get together again soon. I agree with needed either a round table or a room where we could get up and walk around, but I couldn't come up with anything.

13. Locally, we have Starr, Wagner, and FIrefighters ... and then there's Stoney Creek.

All of them have Frisbee Golf.

14. Stony Creek is fun....

My dad used to take us there almost every
weekend when we were little to get us out
of our mom's hair.

We always went to the Nature Trails....

15. Back when I was 'little' we went to Warsaw Park ...

... which (I guess) has been consumed by Stony Creek. They had a GREAT toboggan run there ... twin tracks and tilt-roller starting platforms. At the end, we'd have to bail out half the time if the steersman didn't avoid the trees.

It sure was nice meeting everyone... I didn't get down to the Tahiti end of the table, however. Maybe next time.
