Thousands of Jackson County's working poor could get a smaller refund than before if the state decides to preserve a small portion of a tax credit.

The Michigan Earned Income Tax Credit, which helps low-income workers, has been on the table for cuts as the state faces a projected $1.8 billion deficit in the next fiscal year.

repuke axe there useing , slips and cuts some of there unearned income there fooking hideing , they just took a axe to my medicaid help on paying for my part d coverage
