A freeper from Michigan is warning that there is some big news

to break about a Dem in MI (wouldn't say what). This may be why the Republicans are throwing money into MI now....in advance of this. Anybody know what it may be? Please pass on to any relevant person.

2. Something from our paper today.

The MI GOP is suing Sen. Mark Shauer for violations of campaign finance laws. I know the guy who leaked it to them (I recognized his mark of what the articles said), and he is dead to me from now on. I told him that, if there really were anything there, to report it to the state party. He's pissed at how the county party treated him in the primary this summer, and the county republicans have promised him an uncontested primary for almost anything he wants. You can guess which argument won out.

I imagine it's something with Stabenow or Granholm (if there is anything at all).

4. I don't think Stabenow has any deep, dark secrets to hide.

And Granholm herself doesn't, but who knows what kind of last minute lies that the GOP could come up with?
