1. It was shown live in MSNBC and CNN, at least. It was great!
I only tuned in toward the end of Galloway's statement, but it was amazing. He ripped the committee for being wrong on everything about Iraq, and not on focusing on the real scandals here, i.e., the war, the war profiteering of U.S. companies, etc.

He just blew Norm Coleman away.

3. I saw the tail end of Galloway's statement.
He really did sock it to Normie the weasel. Pointing out how AMERICAN companies were siphoning more oil than anyone else, and repeatedly used the phrase "pack of lies" when describing the * admin's case for war. Over and over nailed him on how right he (and the anti-war movement) was, and how wrong the pro-war Republicans were.

Oh and he pointed out how Normie was a big star on neocon newspapers and websites! Ha ha ha!

No...he knocked him flat out on the canvas and many neo-cons are down for the count. Accusing Galloway was the 'dumbest'move made by neo-cons to date. He knocked the cover off of Pandora's box.
Of course MSM is avoiding the discussion but this will not be going away anytime soon.

6. I especially liked this from the Strib's article last week:
Iit said Galloway called Coleman's pane a "lickspittle Republican committee, acting on the wishes of George Bush."

In the print edition there was a sidebar that defined "lickspittle" this way: Webster's Internation Dictionary, Second Edition, Unabridged defines lickspittle as a verb meaning "to flatter or toady to serviley". The noun licksplit means "an abject parasite or toady".

Well, Galloway pretty much nailed the weasel with that one. I vote we start calling him Senator Licksplit.

Later, in the article it did mention that a spokesman for Normie said they would not "dignify" the reference to McCarthy or lickspit with a response.

7. More here from the Irish press
http://breakingnews.iol.ie/news/story.asp?j=143299644&p=y433xx35x

Mr Galloway rejected a claim in the sub committee's report that he had had "many" meetings with Saddam Hussein, saying he had only met the former dictator twice.

“I have met Saddam Hussein exactly the same number of times as Donald Rumsfeld met him. The difference is that Donald Rumsfeld met him to sell him guns and to give him maps the better to target those guns,” he said.

“I was an opponent of Saddam Hussein when British and American governments and businessmen were selling him guns and gas,” he said.

9. I think I love this man
The fact that Galloway was willing to appear in front of Normie's committee should have tipped the weasel off that this was not a person who was goin to roll over for him. I suppose Senator Lickspit's ego is so large that he was under the impression that a request from him was just too important to ignore.

8. 99% increase over Paul Wellstone?
Yeah right. Normy, aka "Senator Sprinkle" (Ed Schultz's name for him because he can only carry a litte of W's water) is a disgrace for the state.

11. Pure Bambi meets Godzilla
Galloway took "Senator" Lick-spittle Asshat behind the shed and opened up a six-pack of whoop-ass on the sorry little lizard. There was nothing left of Normie but a pair of smoking shoes with bad hair sitting on them.

A beautiful thing to hear, it was. :applause:
