1. Wow! For only $1000 I can get a seat with a member of Congress?
And for $2300 a seat at the Speaker's table? Of course that might be worth it if I also get to ask her if she regrets taking impeachment off the table.

Ain't democracy grand?

4. If you buy a ticket which benefits Tim Walz for $2,300...

...and ask Nancy Pelosi if she regrets taking impeachment off the table, you'd have my gratitude.

7. Unfortunately, I don't have $2300
because I'd love to do that. Maybe we should start a pool and once we get $2300 in it, hold a drawing to pick one of us to go to this.

2. This again
It seems that the only way to get access to a Congresscritter is to shell out big bucks.

I wish they had frequent $5 coffee and cookie fundraisers, because while they THINK they need endless money, what they need in the end is VOTES, and if they can win 20 votes for $100, why bother to win 1 vote for $100?

3. Will you ask Amy ...
... about her aye vote on the Protect America Act?

I'd LOVE to know how she justifies it.

6. People who can't afford a $100 ticket or who are busy that day...
...can make a smaller donation to Tim Walz's campaign:

9. Good--maybe they'll learn that they need more VOTES, not more cash from
the fat cats.

If they held coffee and cookie fundraisers for $10, they'd get more support and more votes and look more like the party of the people than like the slightly kinder, gentler branch of the Corporate Party.

This kind of "you get to influence the Speaker if you have a spare $2300 (NOTE: a lot of people's monthly income) lying around" crap is a symptom of what's wrong with the Democratic Party today.
