Decorate your Yards for the GOP and RNC

get your yardsigns.. remember the Mayors want us to decorate to welcome the GOP.
Also can get creative yard signs:

On Saturday, Aug. 23, 50 signs — one of each design — will be laid out on the Matthews Park hill (near the corner of 27th Avenue South and East 25th Street) to be distributed, first-come, first-serve, starting at 9 a.m. The signs can also be purchased for $15 through the My Yard, Our Message website, where you may also view all the entries.

The yard-sign project is just one part of The UnConvention, a “ non-partisan collective of citizens and cultural institutions provides a forum for promoting the democratic and free exchange of ideas during and after the Republican National Convention,” according to its website.

While many of the signs have a non-partisan “get-out-the-vote” theme, others lean decidedly to the left, like one that reads: “You shouldn’t be looking for humor in this sign. The joke is in the White House.”

Don't forget to decorate those off ramps of 94, 77, 35E, in the wee hours of the morning on Sept 1st.
If you do it early Monday morning.. the police won't have enough time to take them down. hint hint.
Old campaign signs work great.

You can also get the red "Support the Troops, End the War" signs that were given out last year.. at no cost. Just go to the WAMM office at Sabathani's.. at 3rd Ave and 38th St. Minneapolis.

Or make your own with Cardboard. If you live near the Airport.. get creative and paint on a table cloth and tack it carefully to your roof.
